This is the Red Cross Carnival Float in the early 1970s. The carnival was the Grays carnival. I am not sure if we won a prize for entering!! I am on the far left in nurses uniform and I used to do voluntary nursing at the Tilbury hospital and Thurrock hospital in Long Lane, Grays.
