The bulk carrier MARINA (18,628 tons gross, 32,427 deadweight) was built at Osaka, Japan, in 1970, for a Greek owner as AGIA ERINI II. In 1984 she became KALIOPE, and in 1986 took on the name MARINA, owned by Corporal Shipping Ltd, of Valletta, Malta, and managed by Flandermar Shipping Co, of Piraeus, Greece. After 15 years of service with this company, she arrived at Alang, India, in 2001, to be broken up.
