Tilbury marine station was inside the docks alongside the Hotel and was used to transfer passengers, who travelled down from London, onto the cruise liners running from Tilbury. Any other info would be helpful.
I don’t believe the station served cruise liner passengers but passengers travelling to Ostend on the Cockerell Line ships which sailed from the dock basin area which was quite close to what is now the cruise terminal. The rail line crossed the road quite close what was then Tilbury Laundry…..which was a victim of WWII bombing with some loss of life
