Looking good at the Orsett Show

A great day was had by all at the Orsett Show this year. The Heritage Tent was busy all day with people enjoying looking at the rich history of Thurrock. As you can see from the photo, there were ‘characters’ there to greet you including Queen Elizabeth, who looked amazing. The Home Guard volunteer who had a day of people saying ‘ Don’t tell them your name Pike!’ looked the part completely. Daniel DeFoe was there with his latest book!

Annie O’Brien would like to thank all the volunteers for the day and really taking part. It was a fantastic day as always.
