Dementia Awareness Week

at Chadwell Library

As part of Dementia Awareness Week (17th – 23rd May), Annie O’Brien (who was the leading person in establishing the Tilbury and Chadwell Memories web site) visited Chadwell Library with the contents of a “memory box”.

These boxes, which are for people in the early stages of dementia, have been put together as part of the Making More Memories a Heritage Lottery funded project.
