Tilbury’s Picnic in the Park

Tilbury Riverside Project would like to thank everyone that came and were part of our Picnic in the Park this week.

It was another great community day for the People of Tilbury with all the performers on stage coming from Tilbury, celebrating local talent.

Of course these events only take place due to the hard work by many people, and sponsorship by local businesses.

It was fantastic to have EMR Metal Recycling sponsor the event and come along with their stand and truck. EMR are based in The Port of Tilbury and this year has seen them get involved with bringing colour to the town with planting new flowers and trees outside Tilbury Town C2C rail station. They also helped deliver a back to work programme, Attention to Logistics, for ex military with the Tilbury on the Thames Trust and The Port of Tilbury and have sponsored the 2019 Tilbury Christmas Lights.

It’s so important that we continue to work collaboratively and build on the community spirit that has been built over recent moths with Carnival and Picnic in the Park.
