First people to embark at Tilbury on Royal Daffodil since WW2

This is a cutting taken from the Thurrock Gazette in 1962. The reason I believe we appeared in the paper was that we were the first people to board the ” Royal Daffodil” at Tilbury landing stage since the second world war. We were on a no passport day trip to Calais.
