thank you david for reply. I heard later geoff was secretary for Tilbury FC. I was in same class with david at school and later graham played. in the same Tilbury juniors. team as me.
You are right it was Geoff Paisley from Chadwell who went to become Tilbury secretary
I was at that game when Tilbury beat grays 2-1 in the biggest crowd I ever saw at st chads rd so exciting. as young lads we all dreamed of FA cup glory. I see the author of this article is Geoffrey Paisley I remember a Geoffrey paisley who lived in chadwell with his brothers David and graham and playing football with them for his team Hillcrest Athletic. could it be the same person?
