The Thames at Tilbury by Robert Medley (1905-1994) is part of the Government Art collection. It was bought by the Ministry of Works in March 1958 and currently (March 2018) hangs in the office of local MP Jackie Doyle-Price. It is one of a number of industrial landscapes of the area painted by Medley.
