Here we have some photos of the Tilbury War Memorial getting a makeover and being repainted, this year, 2014. The memorial was originally unveiled as a Peace Memorial on 10th November 1934.
Thurrock Council plans to refurbish and clean all memorials before the First World War centenary on 4 August.
