  • Thelma Whalley (nee Frisby) worked in the office in the booking hall circa 1955/56.   Charlie Baker (Ex Feenan Highway and Lytton Road) did 47 years as a passenger Guard and finally as Head Shunter at the riverside until he retired in 1970.  His Son, (Chas. Jnr) worked on the sheds at Tilbury from the age of 16 as a cleaner and subsequently as a Driver.  He completed his 49 year career on the railway as Motive Power Supervisor.
