Dear Annie,

Just thought you may be interested in seeing this cartoon.

I found it in my attic and I guess it was in a newspaper when the Docks had been thriving but soon to decline !!

My uncle was senior foreman in 1962 of No.1 Shed, which was dubbed ” The White Elephant ” by the facility dockers when P&O and Orient Lines relocated to Southampton.
