The USSR steam icebreaker KRASIN on the landing stage. I have seen her name spelt KRASSIN. She was on a goodwill (and to raise money ) visit to Tilbury and was open to the public. Built in 1917 and launched as the SVYATOGOR. She was scuttled in 1919, lifted and used by the Royal Navy at Scarpa Flow. She is now at St. Petersburg as a museum. Entrance fee 250 rubles. I took these photos on 2/12/90.
