Bart Dicker bought a family photo album from an antique shop in King’s Road in 1977. It contained a couple of snaps from Tilbury. There was also a snap of the river from Gravesend and a snap of Parrock Road in Gravesend. They all have a date on the back and were taken in 1930.

It is 1930 and not the 1930s. I know because the dates are on the back of the pictures.
