The bulk carrier ENVOYAGER was built in 1985 in Japan as ALPS MARU, owned by Mitsui OSK Lines. The 15,350 tons gross, 21,183 deadweight, vessel was sold in March 1991 to Sinsplax Private Ltd of Singapore and renamed ENVOYAGER. It was managed in Singapore, but its owning company was a subsidiary of Nedlloyd Group, of Rotterdam. In 2010, it sold for $4 millsion to King Shipmanagement, of Nanjing, China, and now operates under the St Vincent flag as KING DIAMOND.
