Bonfire Night 5th November 1948
This group of children are all standing in front of a big bonfire that they had built for Guy Fawkes night on 5th November 1948 in Ottowa Road, Tilbury. I think that three or four of the children came from Pizzey family, not sure though. I can’t remember any of the other names, can you?

Hi-just seen this. Weirdly I have the exact same photo on my sideboard! Mum mum , Joan Grover left it to me with no info.
My mum used to live in Malta Road, Tilbury and would have been around 11 when this photo was taken. Did anyone know her ? If so could you let me know if she’s in the photo? The copy I have is very small and would need to have it blown up! Thanks
