Memories of Derek Blake

Hello,
My name is Derek Blake.
I recall as a toddler my parents renting a house on Spencer Walk in Tilbury for a couple of years after the home they owned was destroyed during the war. Shortly after that our family moved to a “council house” on Lea Road in Chadwell St Mary.
I attended Chadwell St Mary Primary School, Park Road Secondary School and Thurrock Technical College before emigrating to Canada in 1967 at 24 years of age.
